Was there passenger train travel available from Burlington, Iowa to Grand Island, Nebraska, in the Spring of 1870?

Perfect! Thanks!

Two days across Iowa and another day Omaha to Grand Island?

Oh, and, I read somewhere that the rail bridge across the Missouri from Council Bluffs to Omaha wasn't completed until 1873. Is that true? If so, would people have ferried across or maybe have been taken in a wagon across a different bridge?
