See the detail of UPRR Chief Engineer Grenville Dodge shaking hands with CPRR Chief Engineer Samuel S. Montague at Promontory, Utah as the rails were joined on May 10, 1869, and the earlier photograph of General Grenville Dodge. Don't know of a photograph of his younger brother Nathan Dodge.

Camp Dodge, in central Iowa near Des Moines, is the headquarters of the Iowa National Guard.
The headquarters of the Union Pacific Railroad sits near Dodge Street in Omaha.
His longtime home in Council Bluffs is now the historic General Dodge house.
The now-abandoned Fort Dodge in Kansas provided shelter for travelers along the Santa Fe Trail. Fort Dodge in Iowa is actually named for a different Dodge, Henry Dodge.
The frontier cow town of Dodge City, Kansas is named after Grenville Dodge."
