BMLRR – Linwood W. Moody negative collection

From: "Peterson, Anne" apeterso@mail.smu.edu

I just found your web site, and thought you would like to know that the Linwood W. Moody negative collection is here at the DeGolyer Library. We have one of the largest railroad photography collections in the United States.

We have more than 2,000 negatives from over 100 railroad lines in the Moody collection.

Thanks so much for your recent note about the images of Linwood Moody ... The Moody images on that page are from his set of postcards published I think in the 1950's or 1960's. As you may know besides Mr. Moody's photography and his book on narrow gauge railroads in Maine ("The Maine Two Footers"), he was for quite a few years the station agent for the BMLRR in Brooks, ME, some twelve miles inland from Belfast. ...
