Yes I know exactly what this is about and it is a hoax meant to disparage James Dolan, the chairman of Cablevision which owns Madison Square Garden as well as the NBA New York Kniks and NHL New York Rangers. Jeremy Lin is a Harvard educated Asian American basketball player who made a huge but brief (several weeks) PR sensation in New York when he was signed as a free agent by the Knicks last winter. Lin recently signed with another team (Houston) for a huge salary that NY wisely did not chose to match which has caused controversy in the NY sports community. This "story" is a parody based on that. Ignore it.
