There is a work, Social Amusements: Or Holidays at Aunt Adela's Cottage by Jean Pierre Bres, 1842. Don't know if that is the same book as you are asking about.
There is also a book, Social Amusements: A Choice Collection of Parlor Games, Tricks, Charades ... ,1886, 96 pages, .
