James P. Marden works for State of Nevada Highway Department. A resident of Winnemucca, he is also a volunteer fireman, and former college professor teaching history. He also previously worked for a local newspaper. Marden is a member of Humboldt Museum Historical Society, and continues to be very active in researching Nevada history.
Would you know how to contact Mr. Marden? My name is Joe McCoy with a publication called The Nevada Review. One of our goals is to put together a guide to all the rural histories in Nevada that have been written. He also might be interested in publishing some of his work with us. Our website is www.thenevadareview.com and our email is thenevadareview@gmail.com. Thank you for your help.
