"Poster advertiaaing CEntral Pacific Railroad"

From: "Hazzard Family"

Circa 1870

Hand panted on Cloth blue black grey inks.

This poster appears to be original. Would your group be intreasted in this?

From: "johncon2"

attached is picture I have of Central Pacific Railroad poster

It is  painted on cloth.. circa 1800

Is this something the Museum would take an interest in?  Is it of any value/

Best guess is that this is not a poster, not 19th century, and not hand painted, but rather a piece of 20th century commercial cloth (note the repeating pattern) with a Central Pacific Railroad theme that someone has nicely mounted on a piece of board with some sewn on red edging. Could this have been made for a child's room c. 1969 when this was a popular theme due to the centennial?

What does it say on the white label in the lower right corner? Not legible in the picture.
