Rather sad that there is but one comment regarding the 147th anniversary of the driving of the last spike in the transcontinental railroad on this May 10th, 2016 & National Train Day....
Even sadder is that the official National Train Day celebration was discontinued after 2015 due to budget cuts within Amtrak.
"But many museums and train stations throughout the country are continuing with their own events."
