Question: Chamber Pot
I am looking for some place to find the value of a a toilet from THE
CENTRAL PACIFIC RAIL ROAD.
THE TAG ON THE TOILET PAN READS
"NOTICE TO PASSENGERS DO NOT EMPTY THIS TOILET OUT OF TRAIN WINDOW CENTRAL PACIFIC R.R."
I would appreciate it if you could let me know if you have an approximate value on it or if you can direct me to someone who could apraise it I live in Talladega, Alabama.
It is in very good condition and is solid brass with a handle 9" in diameter with a 1 1/2" rim.

These are novelty items, not antiques, that are sold all the time on eBay.com.
So are you telling me that these were never used on the Central Pacific trains and were only sold as novelty items?

Exactly. Fakes made a hundred years later, 1969.
I have the same pot and the label reads the same I find it interesting and can not believe they have litte to no value.
