Old rail from Russia

I am from Russia. I found the place where the rail, shown in attachment situated. This is very interesting place. We have here old railroad with different marks on the rails. Rail which is in attachment only one of them. For example we have a rail which marked " UNION D N.T.K. 1887" ...

Thank you very much for sharing the nice photo of the piece of 1887 Sheffield rail. Most interesting – particularly with the strap welded to the top. I for one would be interested in photos of other marked rail. I think among us there are others who will be interested in your photos, and will have photos of interesting rail they can share with you.

On the attached photos you can see the place where this rails situated – it is an anti-avalanche gallery and this rails support the roof. Also you can see the rails on the ground – they was built at the same time. Also please find in attachment photos of another marked rails.
