84 Charing Cross Road

The discussion group is a bit reminiscent of 84, Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff, the charming story of a New York writer and book collector who has a continuing correspondence with a prominent London bookseller, Frank Doel of Marks & Co., that goes on for many years without them ever meeting face to face. This book for bibliophiles was made into a movie staring Anne Bancroft and Anthony Hopkins.
