Lewis W. Peters Album and 1868 CPRR Locomotive Roster
The 1868 CPRR Locomotive Roster and Photographs from the Lewis W. Peters Album are now online at the CPRR Museum.
Included are portraits of the Veterans of Sacramento Shops Who Took Part in Repairing Southern Pacific Locomotive No. 1 in 1884.

Note the November 6, 1868 CP roster is clearly from Joslyn, or at least is a copy of the same one he copied (and likely uses the same negative). The ink spots and blemisishes match the ones on the copies I have that trace back to Joslyn. (Sure wish I know where the actual original roster was ... ) This is the same roster that Donald Duke reproduced in the Southern Pacific Steam book, which Don retypeset (with a slightly different layout, but al the same info).
