Book finally in print: 'Rails, Tales and Trails'

From: "G J Chris Graves" caliron@att.net

Six years ago TV newsman Bill George wandered up my driveway, and asked for a tour of the old CPRR grade. Then, in 2011, accompanied by Brendan Compton as a professional photographer, we filmed The Hidden Wonder of the World, a DVD showing the old CPRR grade from Sacramento to Donner Summit. (A modified version of that work, Hidden Wonder of the World, can be seen on your computer at the Public TV station KVIE website.)

Then last year Bill George began work on the book noted here (Kindle e-book edition): Rails, Tales and Trails: A step-by-step guide to secret locations, fascinating people and historic towns of the old Central Pacific Railroad from Sacramento to Reno.

This book explictly tells the reader how to find the last remaining sites that are of interest to "foamers" that are into history. ... Should someone wish to purchase a book (limited paper edition, printing of 70 copies), they should contact Bill George by phone at 916/899-9871, or by U.S. Mail at 4520 Shari Way, Granite Bay, CA 95946, or by email w_george1@msn.com
